What is “Volira”?
This is a modern version of the fairy tale of all time “Sleeping Beauty”.
The music of this work is diverse – here is rock, classical, rap, jazz, and other styles in various combinations. This allowed to more accurately convey the characters and their moods.
In this work everything is original – the plot, music and poems. I called “Volira” a fairy tale, although each of the events that happen in it, happened in real life.
Why did I write “Volira”? Because I love Christmas. And I still believe in miracles.
“Volira” was created based on my story “New Christmas Tale”. Work on Volira has been underway for more than 5 years, but only now the project has reached the finish line. I was helped to create “Volira” by many talented guys, Amateurs and professionals.
“Volira” is like a layer cake.
The top layer is a plot of an unusual new year’s adventure, it is a fantastic fairy tale in which dreams of heroes are mixed with real life.
The middle layer is a real story, from which, as from a puzzle, a Christmas tale is assembled.
And in the deepest layer of “Volira” is hidden a philosophical parable about the incomprehensible logic of the Creator, about the conflict of two human worlds – the real and virtual worlds, and about the love connecting both these worlds.
I hope that “Volira” you’ll like it. I am very pleased that it was liked by the excellent composers Evgeny Krylatov, Alexander Klevitsky, Sergei Gavrilov. Their kind words inspired me to create.
“Volira” is waiting for its discoverer, someone who will see the great potential of this project, who will be the first, whose name will henceforth be inextricably linked with “Volira”.
